I’m Reese King, a cinematographer and photographer from South Jamaica, Queens, New York. My work began with a love of writing and a desire to turn ideas into stories people could see and feel.

That passion led me to the Digital Film Academy, where I picked up a camera for the first time. Studying light, composition, and movement changed how I approached storytelling. I discovered how a carefully framed shot, a subtle expression, or a well-timed edit could give a scene its emotional weight.

Since then, I’ve worked to bring that same care and intention to every project. Collaborating with talented artists and creative teams has challenged me to keep learning, experiment with new approaches, and stay true to each story.

Photography became a natural extension of my filmmaking. I was drawn to the challenge of telling a story in a single frame: capturing an unguarded expression, the energy of a performance, or a moment someone will want to remember.

As Vice President and Head Cinematographer of Lyons Gold Standard Multimedia LLC, I bring photography, cinematography, and video editing together to help people and businesses tell their stories with clarity, emotion, and a distinct point of view.
